1. At the beginning there will be a short introduction of some important rules. (10 mins)
2. There will be three rounds in total. Each section will last for 30 minutes (15 minutes for the auction and 15 minutes for the transaction), in which a certain number of raw materials and machines will be auctioned.
3. There will be 5 minutes for teams to rest and make further decisions between each round.
4. At the end we will announce the prize for winners and make a conclusion. (10 mins)

A. Winning condition:

The team who build more houses wins！(Construction for a house takes 10 trees, 5 bricks, and 2 irons.)

B. Setup:

Each team is given $30000 virtual cash at the beginning. They can use it to pay for auction bids and transactions.

For the auction part, we will set the starting bidding price for the following items:

Tree: $1000; Tree Machine: $10000

Brick: $2000; Brick Machine: $12000

Iron: $5000; Iron Machine: $14000 

C. Game Details:

Each tree machine could produce ten trees; the production process for each tree would cost $400.

Each brick machine could produce eight bricks; the production process for each brick would cost $800.

Each iron machine could produce five iron pieces; the production process for each iron piece would cost $2000.

D. The increment for bidding should be more than $200.

Due to pandemic, we will conduct the auctioning on Zoom.

Zoom setting:

• Each team should have a group chatting for team negotiation. It is recommended to use the form of video. At that time we will form a WeChat group for all the teams together, too.

• Throughout the game, the resources for each team will be recorded and shown on the main page of zoom, including money, numbers of raw materials, machines, and machine usage times.

• For the transaction part, each team needs to send one representative to the sub-room to communicate with other teams and make transactions. Also, more details of transaction can be discussed by private chat. Other team members who stay in the main zoom room can also direct communicate with other groups via private chat on zoom. After confirmation, just inform each group’s supervisor and they will help take the record of transactions.

• For the auction part, it is better to find a representative to bid for a team. Only unmute yourself as you want to make a bid. But remember to speak one by one. Order is the most important.

1. Rules for the competition will be announced in advance to familiarize participants with the game and to help them make better business decisions.

2. Total duration are 2 hours ,it will allow participants to obtain 2 HLTH 1010 hours!

3. Participants quota: 20 (3-4 members a team; participants are encouraged to form group by themselves)
